Food Bank

EK Community Food Bank is a short-term care initiative that aims to help families who are facing financial difficulty and do not have enough to buy all the food they require as a family. Food packages and hygiene bags are given out freely to families without question or judgement.

A number of other churches around East Kilbride are involved. Church at Lindsayfield hosts a Food Bank drop in session on Monday evenings between 6.15pm and 7.30pm. You can collect food parcels, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and have a chat with one of our volunteers.

The Food Bank operates completely on donations from individuals in the community. We will accept donation of any non-perishable food items, household goods that are still in good working condition, and adult and children’s clothing that are still in good condition.

For Crisis or Emergency help, social work or agency enquiries or if you need more information, please call 01355 247 660 (9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday).
